The Support Wellingborough consortium is a group of over 20 local organisations committed to working together for the benefit of Wellingborough residents and communities. It includes housing, care and support providers, plus general and specialist agencies, which work closely with voluntary sector organisations and local communities.

The organisations involved include:

  • Aimhigher Northamptonshire - supporting young people realise ambitious aspirations through work based learning
  • Alzheimer's Society - provide advice, help and support to families and suffers of dementias
  • Bridge Project - is a substance misuse agency providing peer support and activities throughout Northamptonshire
  • Care and Repair - offer handyman service to older and disabled people
  • Catch 22 – supports ex-offenders
  • Citizens Advice Bureau – helping people resolve legal, money and other problems
  • Community Housing Network – supporting disabled people to find their own housing solutions
  • Community Law service – provides debt and benefits advice
  • Daylight Centre Fellowship – supports people who are, or at risk of being, homeless and in food poverty
  • Delos Community – supports people with learning disabilities
  • Family Support Link - providing support for families affected by drink and/or drugs
  • Free2Talk - providing realistic solutions to challenges for children, young people and families
  • Gharana Nivas/Housing21 – supports older and disabled people from black and minority ethnic communities
  • Heartlands Mediation – helps resolve neighbourhood disputes
  • Home Start Wellingborough District – supports families to cope with daily living
  • Hope Centre - helping deprived communities to cope through family support services
  • Mayday Trust – supports people who are homeless or with drug or alcohol problems
  • Northamptonshire Credit Union - providing savings plans, budget accounts and loans
  • Pravasi Mandal – support for older and disabled people from the Asian community
  • Relate - offering relationship support for couples and families
  • Shires Community Services – provides community transport services
  • Sofa Wise – provides affordable furniture and goods for people in need
  • Together Your Way – supports people with mental health needs and supported accommodation
  • Wellingborough African Caribbean Association – supports people from the African Caribbean community
  • Wellingborough and East Northants Women’s Aid – support for people experiencing domestic abuse
  • Welllingborough Family Hostels – supports teenage parents
  • Wellingborough Homes – local housing association
  • Wellingborough MIND – supports people with mental health needs
